Development of the CLImB measurement method moves to the analysis phase

The CLImB collaborative project is developing a standardized and well-established method for measuring and valuing biodiversity in the context of land use change on land.

Before the summer, the calculation models for the test phase were developed and during the summer and fall, natural value inventories of 313 hectares of land have been carried out. Data from these inventories, as well as from previous inventories conducted by Ecogain, will now be used to evaluate and calibrate the methods.

As part of the anchoring work to create conditions for increased use, workshops with the project partners have also been carried out during the autumn.

In early December, the choice of the final method will be determined. The method will then be further developed and calibrated.
