Maria Åkesson

Maria Åkesson is a consultant in the Nature Based Solutions team. With a broad background in environmental science, where the interaction between society and nature is in focus, she strives to find solutions that benefit both biodiversity, people and climate. Her areas of interest include ecological restoration and aftercare, nature-based solutions and invasive plants.

Maria has a degree in environmental science with a focus on nature conservation from Lund University.

 Maria is based in Malmö.
