Ruaridh Hägglund

Ruaridh is a consultant with a wide range of ecological issues on land. He has solid experience in nature value inventories, species protection investigations, ecological restoration and ecological compensation. His main area of expertise is the boreal forest, but he also has extensive experience of other habitats and habitat types from all over Sweden.

Ruaridh is equally at home in the field and at his desk coming up with new and creative solutions to benefit biodiversity in the projects he undertakes. 

Ruaridh is a trained biologist at Umeå University. He later obtained a PhD in ecology with a focus on ecological restoration at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, SLU.

Ruaridh is based in Umeå.
